SEC-T is coming up fast — and we’re looking for workshops!
About SEC-T
SEC-T is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to spreading knowledge and fostering interest in information security within the tech community.
For our Community Day, we’re inviting you to run a deep-dive workshop where you teach something cool, technical, and hands-on.
Format
- Half-day to full-day workshops
- Roughly 4–8 hours in length
- Hands-on and interactive is strongly encouraged
Important Dates
- Submission Deadline: July 1st
- Community Day Event: September 9th
What We’re Looking For
We review all submissions with a few key goals in mind. We want to see:
- Something interesting, technical, and worth learning
- A workshop that provides real depth, not just surface-level content
- A clear structure to the learning
- Engaging instructors who can guide participants throughout
- Novel or unconventional topics
- Strong preference for hands-on exercises and live demos
What to Avoid
Please don’t:
- Send us AI slop
- Submit a marketing pitch
- Submit a workshop you’re not genuinely interested in

- Who the workshop is for
- (Optional but appreciated) A rough outline or structure
