Call for Workshops

SEC-T is coming up fast — and we’re looking for workshops!

About SEC-T

SEC-T is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to spreading knowledge and fostering interest in information security within the tech community.

For our Community Day, we’re inviting you to run a deep-dive workshop where you teach something cool, technical, and hands-on.

Format

• Half-day to full-day workshops
• Roughly 4–8 hours in length
• Hands-on and interactive is strongly encouraged

Important Dates

• Submission Deadline: July 1st
• Community Day Event: September 9th

What We’re Looking For

We review all submissions with a few key goals in mind. We want to see:

• Something interesting, technical, and worth learning
• A workshop that provides real depth, not just surface-level content
• A clear structure to the learning
• Engaging instructors who can guide participants throughout
• Novel or unconventional topics
• Strong preference for hands-on exercises and live demos

What to Avoid

Please don’t:

• Send us AI slop
• Submit a marketing pitch
• Submit a workshop you’re not genuinely interested in

• What your workshop is about
• What participants will learn
• Who the workshop is for
• (Optional but appreciated) A rough outline or structure
